2024 “Heroes”Pinot Noir
$75.00
“From an unirrigated and organic vineyard planted much closer to Lorne than Geelong, in the Otway Hinterland. Having honed his pinot-making skills at Bannockburn and Clyde Park, James Thomas is now making his own outstanding pinot noirs. 30% whole bunches. A medium, bright ruby red. With its aromas of pure red fruits, floral scents, allspice and a hint of autumn leaves, this soars effortlessly from the glass. The palate is medium bodied, with pitch-perfect silky and persistent tannins and bright acidity. Finishes mineral and long. Worth every cent and more.” – Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion 02 December 2025
